Tasting Notes: Sweet Orange, Cacao Nib, Cane Sugar

This decaf is super easy drinking, and just interesting enough to keep you on your toes! A subtle sweet orange at the front of the cup, followed by cacao nib (both in flavor and mouthfeel), finishing with a slightly heavier body, and a hint of cane sugar clarity, this decaf goes up one-for-one against any medium to light roast single origin, any day of the week! If you didn’t tell a guest that this was decaf there’s a good chance they wouldn’t know. Not very acidic, this coffee is also a much easier drinking cup than some, interesting enough to keep you from getting bored, but not so much going on that you want to save it for special occasions. This sits right in the sweet spot for your daily driver or evening companion cup!

Decaffeinated using the EA Decaffeination method, which (in my experience) yields a cup closer to a fully caffeinated cup than other decaffeination methods. Colombia is at the forefront of decaf technology and experimentation. Some of the best decafs in the world are coming from their crops and decaffeination facilities.
